Frequently Asked Questions

I work with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and neurodiversity-related support (including ADHD and autism-related experiences).

Yes. All sessions are offered online through a secure virtual platform, allowing you to attend therapy from a space where you feel comfortable and safe.

My approach is collaborative, client-centred, and flexible. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness, to tailor our work to your unique needs, goals, and strengths.

Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply curious about yourself and your patterns. You don’t need to be in crisis to start—many people come to therapy to better understand themselves, build coping tools, or navigate life transitions with more support.

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope to get out of our work together. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance—just come as you are.

Yes. I aim to offer a neurodiversity-affirming approach that respects different ways of thinking, feeling, processing, and communicating. Therapy is adapted to your needs rather than expecting you to fit into a rigid structure or way of working.

Sessions are 50 or 80 minutes. Frequency can vary depending on your needs and preferences. Some clients prefer weekly sessions, while others attend bi-weekly or as needed. We’ll decide together what feels most supportive.

There is no set timeline. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others prefer longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and growth. We can revisit this together as we go.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my services are covered and/or reimbursed by most extended health insurance plans. I encourage you to check with your provider to confirm your specific coverage.

The fee for a 50-minute therapy session is $160, and the fee for an 80-minute therapy session is $256. Payment is due at the time of service, and a receipt will be provided for insurance reimbursement.
